New features, improvements and bug fixes are a mainstay in social media web apps.  The APIs for those web apps are certainly no different.  As features change and as the functionality matures, the programming interfaces occasionally need a bit of housekeeping.

CloudPreservation.com just added a new feature to it’s already powerful YouTube collection capabilities. Now, in addition to collection of a user’s YouTube profile, videos, subscriptions and favorites, the YouTube feeds can be setup to collect individual YouTube videos.

When you add a new YouTube feed, you’ll notice a fourth option to enter the address of the YouTube video you would like to capture.

After you’ve setup your feed, that video and all of the comments and meta-data associated with it will be collected and stored in CloudPreservation, and will continually be updated at the interval you specify.
